The 2024 St. Luke’s Women’s Retreat is “Retreat to the Rock: Finding Refuge in the Rock of Ages”. Join us April 26-28, 2024 for a weekend retreat at St. Mary’s Retreat Center in Sewanee, Tennessee. Registration is available at the bottom of this page.

Casey Cole Higginbotham will be leading us in conversation and reflection on Psalm 18, which begins in verses 1-2 with, “I love you, O LORD my strength, O LORD my stronghold, my crag, and my haven. My God, my rock in whom I put my trust, my shield, the horn of my salvation, and my refuge; you are worthy of praise.”

Casey has a longstanding and fruitful relationship with St. Luke’s and we are excited to have her join us on this inaugural weekend! You can learn more about Casey’s current ministry at www.caseycole.org.

The Planning Team has already been hard at work putting together this amazing weekend. We’ll gather for times of prayer, food, and fellowship; opportunities for discussion in small groups; crafting, journaling, hikes, sabbath time, and more. The weekend includes meals with the Convent of St. Mary’s in the refectory.

There are two ways to participate in this weekend retreat: Friday-Sunday, and Saturday only. Those attending Saturday only will arrive in time for the first session that morning and enjoy a full day of conversation and activities through dinner and the evening Q&A. Those attending Friday-Sunday will begin with dinner Friday evening, a social hour, and small group discussions. On Sunday following breakfast, they’ll attend worship together at All Saints’ Chapel at the University of the South in Sewanee before departing.

Registration for the weekend opens, Sunday, January 28th. You may register at www.stlukescleveland.org/retreat or pick up a registration form from the church office. The retreat is open to the Women of St. Luke’s, and to friends and family who may wish to join us. Space is limited, so register early! The deadline to register is Easter Sunday, March 31st.
