2025 Episcopal Essentials

This fall, join us for “The Spirituality of the Prayer Book: An Invitation to Come and Pray”. Dr. Nathan Napier will lead a four-week seminar inviting us into the living wisdom of The Book of Common Prayer. More than a service book, the prayer book is a map—a guide to living a deeper, richer spiritual life rooted in Scripture, shaped by centuries of Christian tradition, and oriented toward love of God and neighbor.

Together, we will explore how the Prayer Book forms a pattern of life with God through three central practices: the rhythm of the Christian year, the rhythm of daily prayer, and the rhythm of the Eucharist. Nathan will help us see how these practices are not only central to our worship as a church but can also sustain and deepen our own personal walk with Christ.

For those seeking Confirmation or Reception when Bishop Brian Cole visits on December 14th, this series is a continuation of Fr. Joel’s Inquirer’s Class in October.

This four-week series will meet on Tuesday nights beginning November 4th from 6:00 PM-7:15 PM in the Gathering Room of the Parish House.
