About Our Rector

The Rev. Dr. Joel W. Huffstetler is Rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Cleveland, TN. Previously he served as Deacon-in-Charge, then Rector of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Canton, NC, and as Assistant to the Rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chattanooga, TN.

Rev. Huffstetler is a summa cum laude graduate of Elon College, and The School of Theology of The University of the South at Sewanee, where he was awarded his Master of Divinity degree in 1990, and Doctor of Ministry degree in 2006. He has also studied at The Candler School of Theology, Emory University. His publications include Finding our Unity in the Scriptures: Reconciliation in the Anglican Communion, and Pilgrimage Towards Healing and Reconciliation: A Windsor Report Study Guide, as well as numerous articles and reviews.
