Pastoral Ministries

Parish Life Events
Several times throughout the year our Parish Family gathers for special events, programs, and meals.  Often these opportunities for fellowship are coordinated by out Parish Life Team or other volunteers who oversee setup, decoration, and clean-up of the Parish Hall, and being gracious hosts to all.

Some of these events include:
Kick-Off Sunday, Blessing of the Animals, St. Luke's Day Celebration, Women's Fall Fellowship Dinner, Bach's Lunch/Concert Series, Annual Meeting Brunch, Women's Valentine's Day Dinner, Wednesday Night Lenten Series, Easter Egg Hunt, Christian Education Year End Luncheon, Parish Summer Ice Cream Social and many more!

Coffee Hour
Coffee Hour is the time following our early and late services Sunday mornings when church-goers have the opportunity to visit with and greet one another.  Hosts make coffee and provide light refreshments, usually fruit or sweets, during this time of fellowship.

Home Gathering Groups
Twice a year the Parish Family is invited to sign up for Home Gathering Groups.  Members of each group take turns hosting informal meals once a month that provide the opportunity for fellowship with other members of our Parish Family.  Care is taken so that each new group introduces new faces, so we might all know each other better.

Young Adult Fellowship (YAF)
The Young Adult Fellowship is open to all comers, ages 18-35.  the Young Adults gather for fellowship twice a month following the late service on Sunday mornings, as well as participating in the occasional programming and outreach opportunities.

Caring and Sharing
Caring and Sharing is St. Luke's primary in-reach ministry, providing food and other help when there is an illness, birth, death, or other pastoral need in the congregation.

Helping Hands
Helping Hands specializes in providing help to members of our congregation that are ill or have special circumstances: transportation, yard and house work, or other needs.

St. Luke's Prayer Chain
When a request for prayer has been added to the Prayer List, from thanksgiving to intercession, members of the Prayer Chain offer them up to God on behalf of those in need.

Vestry
The Vestry is a group of twelve parishioners elected by the congregation to serve as the church's leadership and advises on ministry in all areas of parish life.
